Note: This post is a work in progress.

Not only does this project push students to go beyond the basic research paper, it also forces them to find connections among historical figures...even when they are separated by time and place.

Assisted by an essential question..."What is the proper role of government?" that must be answered and discussed somewhere on the Wall.

Encouraged to add additional details in order to make the page more authentic...Suggestions, photographs, videos, etc.

Layout:  Left Sidebar

Tables: Used for Friend Suggestions, Wall Posts, etc.  Allowed us to place elements such as photographs and icons in different columns.

Images: Photographs are all from WikiMedia Commons.  Icons were downloaded from this site.

HTML: Finally, we tweaked the appearance of our pages by editing the HTML...image sizing, table borders, etc.
